Theatre + Performance

Musical theatre has been a core passion of mine since childhood, through years of vocal training and drama studies. While I have performed in various amateur shows, I truly found my community within university theatre. As Vice President of RMIT’s RedActs theatre club, I have been instrumental in fostering a thriving, diverse organization that prioritizes inclusive creative spaces for all performers.

Music

For the last 8 years I have been involved across a number of bands and musical projects. These projects have allowed me to perform at a number of high profile venues such as Cherry bar and Queenscliff Music Festival. Working in these bands has allowed me to progress my skills as a performer as well as a music industry professional. I have learnt how to network with other creatives as well as advocate for myself as an artist.

During my time in Sweethearts, we were tasked with writing and producing an EP. I was able to contribute my backing vocal skills to some of the songs as well as assist in the workshopping and writing process. In 2024 the EP was released, featuring the songs I was lucky enough to work on.

Curious Media Internship

I was fortunate enough to work alongside Poppy Reid (Co Founder of Rolling Stone AU/NZ & Founder of Curious Media) as a co-producer and social media intern for her newest podcast On The Record with Poppy Reid. During my time working with Poppy, I have developed strong producing skills as I assisted with researching guests and formulating questions as well as editing drafts of each episode. I have also developed new skills in video and post editing and copy writing as I ran the social media accounts for OTR as well as Curious media. To further the investment in my future I flew to Sydney to meet Poppy and help produce the episode with Sublime. Whilst in the studio I assisted with the finalisation of interview questions as well as setting up the studio and equipment. I was also lucky enough to personally invite Sublime and their team up to the studio and prep them for the interview. This has been an incredibly enriching and informative experience that has prepared me with numerous technical and soft skills that can be utilised across many fields.
